While you go through this working gallery, keep in mind that I grouped these contextually and in series to provide pairing of images for wall art pairing.
Enjoy!
I have not found my perfect BeeSketchee... This is far from womanizing but, also as womanizing as sketching could possibly be. Even though that's not entirely true. This is a set of content that continues to grow as part of a collection. And it isn't all about the sexualization of women. Much of this is about the power women carry through their sexuality.
Exactly as it sounds... Wet noodle. Pushing rope. Whiskey dick. Massive flacid. Flap-jack. Drooping daisy. Limp dick. You name it thats whats it is.
This 18x32 poched compositioned character is all about those forgotten but always remembered drunken nights where a little fairy wants to ride a meaty sausage but all you have is a dead snake. You're only saving grace is you have one arm strong enough to hold yourself up.
But, then again, however shameful the experience, notice how this particular time was processed. Look at the rythmic composition of rectangles; everyone poched. Those are not shading tricks. Those are overlapping poched lines made with a straight edge to generate an overlaying effect.
One line at a time.
That takes patience.
I label this drawing "A Leprecan" because the character is somewhat evasive from the eye. Visible, yet not fully defined. It is as though this mythical creature is in transition of the binary dimensions it occupies.
This highlights a struggle that I have always come across in the produciton of creative work. The notion of "unfinished" versus "finished." I never really see any of my visual work as "finished." Architectural and planning works always become finished because of a different set of perameters. They are living works that must embrace time so re-thinking and alterations are almost always enevitable.
But, with a visual work, sometimes that missing definition is equivalent to the perfect amount of seasoning in a dish or entree that leaves you savoring yet satisfied.
And, sometimes value is gained when we save our creative work for another time.
